She wanted to raise money for the tornado-relief efforts in Joplin. And before she knew it, her efforts reached across the nation.
One week after the tornado devastated Joplin, Kendall Walz, an assistant manager at Culver’s restaurant in Jefferson City, had contacted the more than 20 Culver’s restaurants in Missouri to see if they would be interested in fundraising.
