NWMSU coach dies from apparent heart attack

MARYVILLE, Mo. - Northwest Missouri State head football coach Scott Bostwick died late Sunday morning of an apparent heart attack.

Bostwick was named Northwest's 18th head football coach in December, replacing Mel Tjeerdsma.

Bostwick, the 2007 AFCA Assistant Coach of the Year, had served as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach under Tjeerdsma since 1994.
