FULTON, Mo. - For a fourth time, Sandra G. Plunkett, 37, of Holts Summit did not appear in Callaway County Associate Circuit Court for her scheduled preliminary hearing on a first-degree murder charge.
Her court-appointed attorney, public defender Justin Carver, appeared in court Friday morning with a motion containing Plunkett's signature, attesting to her desire to waive the preliminary hearing.
Plunkett has been held in custody without bail since the first-degree murder charge was filed against her Jan. 5. She is charged with the New Year's day shooting death of her husband, retired 52-year-old Jefferson City police officer Paul Plunkett.
