For the 15th year in a row, thousands of people supported Cole County Relay for Life.
The Jefferson City Jaycees Fairgrounds was filled with purple-shirted cancer survivors, walking side by side with other survivors, physicians and supporters. The event was only one of 550 Relay for Life events being held throughout the country on the same night.
This year, Relay Under the Big Top of Hope means the Cole County event has raised more than $3.5 million, it is also the largest relay by way of revenue in the state.
