For the 32nd year, dancers from Jan Dunning's Jefferson City Dance Academy will take the stage for the annual recital at 2 p.m. Sunday at Richardson Auditorium on the Lincoln University campus.
Students ages 3 through adult will be featured in the recital performing a variety of dance disciplines, including tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical and contemporary.
Bernadette Adams, a former student of Dunning's, wrote the storyline, which she described as being about a toy solider who falls out a window.
Tickets are $10 for the performance and can be purchased at the door or in advance at Jefferson City Dance Academy, 129 Dunklin St., between 6-8 p.m. on Thursday.
