Lake Ozark man sentenced to two years

A Lake Ozark, Mo., man has pleaded guilty to resisting arrest after leading authorities on a chase in June in Cole County.

On Monday, Cole County Judge Dan Green sentenced Donovan Lipich, 40, to two years in prison.

According to Missouri Highway Patrol reports, the incident started when a trooper pulled over Lipich on U.S. 54 for driving with expired license plates. After he stopped, Lipich ran from his vehicle and fled into some nearby woods but eventually was caught.
