Salvation Army has unclaimed items from Sedalia tornado

SEDALIA, Mo. (AP) - Salvation Army officials in Sedalia say they still have some unclaimed items that were turned in after a tornado hit the city on May 25.

The EF-2 tornado scattered personal effects such as family photos, books and Bibles across parts of the city.

Maj. Mark Haslett said the office has about three boxes of items yet to be claimed.

And the office is still accepting any unclaimed personal belongings found after the tornado.
