Sales of single-family houses in Mid-Missouri were down 18.3 percent for the first six months of this year, compared with the same time period last year.
The Jefferson City Area Board of Realtors provided these figures Friday for the four-county Mid-Missouri region:
• Jan. 1-June 30, 2011 — 450 single-family units sold.
• Jan. 1-June 30, 2010 — 551 single-family units sold.
