Woman’s body found in car at Wal-Mart

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) — Police are trying to determine what caused the death of a woman whose body was found in a parked car at a Wal-Mart in southeast Springfield.

A customer discovered the body Sunday morning. Police identified the woman Monday as 45-year-old Christina Glasstetter of Springfield.

Investigators are awaiting autopsy results, but police say there were no obvious signs of foul play.

Authorities say the car had been parked in the same spot for more than a day.

Another woman’s body was found in the same Wal-Mart parking four years ago. Police ruled out foul play in that death.
