Jefferson City council shifts Cirilla's debate to committee

After weeks of concerns and complaints from several residents, Jefferson City's Council has decided to have a committee look through city ordinances pertaining to a local shop that, among other things, sells what opponents have described as pornography.

At Monday's City Council meeting, several residents and members of a local church again voiced their concerns about Cirilla's, 2215 Missouri Blvd., resulting in council members asking for the Public Safety Committee to place the topic on a future agenda.
