Jefferson City council approves animal shelter project
Tuesday, July 19, 2011
By next spring, Jefferson City should be operating a new animal shelter.
City Council members twice voted 10-0 Monday night, first approving budget changes to pay for it, and then authorizing a $1,974,500 contract with JC Industries to build the new shelter at the city’s Hyde Park Road complex.
