Moss takes loss

JOLIET, Ill. — It wasn’t the greatest of returns for Andrew Moss.

Moss, a pitcher for the Joliet Slammers, returned to the lineup Saturday after being activated Friday following a 10-game suspension handed down by the team.

But he was handed a rude welcome back by Rockford, as the RiverHawks dealt the Slammers a 7-5 loss.
