Event organized by Jefferson City Jaycees
Sunday, July 17, 2011
The annual Cole County fair, hosted by the Jefferson City Jaycees, will be held at the Jaycees Fairgrounds July 25- 30. The gates will open at 5 p.m. each day.
Tickets will be priced at $5 on Monday night, with an additional cost for carnival ride tickets. Throughout the remainder of the week, tickets will sell for $10 and unlimited ride armbands for $12. The cost for armbands is an additional charge.
Sandy Backes, Jefferson City Jaycees financial chairwoman, said the fair will showcase a new crop of performers and arena events, but will function much like fairs of past years. The theme of this year’s fair is “It’s 5’oclock Somewhere!”
