If nothing else, Blair Oaks and Jefferson City made it an exciting finish.

Jefferson City's Ryan Gettinger lifted a sacrifice fly to center field in the bottom of the eighth to knock off Blair Oaks 5-4 Friday at the Ashland Wood Bat Tournament.

"I knew eventually, since we were swinging it well, we'd find some holes,"Jays coach Kyle Lasley said. Blair Oaks led 4-3 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning, but the Jays tied it. Rylie Klosterman led off the inning with a single, moved to second on a sacrifice bunt and advanced to third on a wild pitch. He later came around to score when a ball went just off the outstretched glove of Austin Kempker in center field.
