Audit cites issues with sheriff's grants

An outside audit of Cole County’s financial records shows an overall clean bill of health, but there were some concerns raised over grant management in the sheriff’s department.

In a report to the County Commission on Wednesday, officials with Williams Keepers LLC noted internal control deficiencies.
