Burkett wins pole vault
Jessica Clark finishes third

LAWRENCE, Kan. — Joey Burkett took the crown in the pole vault in the 17-18-year-old division Saturday at the Regional USA Track and Field meet.
Burkett, a junior-tobe at Jefferson City High School, set a personal record with a vault of 15 feet, 9 inches.
The win allows Burkett to compete in the National Junior Olympics on July 31 in Wichita, Kan.
Jessica Clark of Blair Oaks High School finished third in the girls intermediate division.
