JC School Board meeting set for Thursday

For the second time in as many months, Jefferson City’s Board of Education will meet on a different night than their normal second Monday of the month schedule.

Scheduling conflicts forced the switch from tonight to Thursday, Superintendent Brian Mitchell said.

Continuing construction at the Central Office, 315 E. Dunklin St., also forced this month’s meeting to be moved, again.

The board will meet at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Dix Road Education Center, 214 Dix Road.

Mitchell said the earlier meeting time also will allow board members to attend the Samaritan Center’s event later that evening.
