I know its not a state park but have you seen the disabled fishing dock at Binder Lake? No one can climb back up to the parking area in a manual wheelchair. ADA specs require 1 inch of rise per 1 foot of travel. That ramp has to have 3 - 4 inches per foot. Binder Lake isnt the only place that has done this, and its worthless to the disabled unless they have a "pusher" along with them. The paved jetty is usually covered with 2 - 3 inches of goose droppings and the fish attracters at the end of it (used christmas trees) are not marked, and its impossable to get a stringer in the water from the pavement. Who designs this stuff ?
