Local heroes were honored at the first of many family barbeques at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Firefighters, police officers, paramedics and EMTs joined residents and families on Saturday for burgers, potato salad and brownies on the patio of the facility at 1221 Southgate Lane.
“They do so much for us and for the community,” said Tina Morton, director of admissions and sales.
