A quick comment about your article on tilt-up walls. The conclusion stipulated shows a 100 percent lack of knowledge about the issue.
Tilt up refers to a style of construction where the wall is built on the floor and then raised in place. The detail of the joint construction of the floor and roof is inadequate in most jobs.
With proper engineering these joints can be built so they withstand the forces that will be acting on them with a strong wind.
