Dear Editor:
The contrast between the letters of Jan Kruse and Randy Wright is very informative. Ms. Kruse is an example of the type of person who wishes to turn Jefferson City into a retirement community for older, deeply religious adults.
Randy Wright is an example of the people who are trying to bring new and diverse business and entertainment into this community. Seeing Ms. Kruse undertake her campaign against a business that she morally is opposed to is, in my opinion, a perfect example why so many young people are leaving this town.
In order to have a diverse community we need businesses and entertainment for all segments of the population, not just those who attend church.
