Fulton officials: Fewer fireworks complaints filed this year

FULTON, Mo. — A new ordinance that allows people to buy and set off fireworks inside the city limits caused no problems during the Independence Day weekend for law enforcement and fire departments, city officials said Tuesday.

One problem caused by the ordinance was a decrease in sales this year at the fireworks stand just south of Fulton’s city limits on Route NN near the intersection of Route H and U.S. 54.
