I was very disappointed to hear that a new business in Wright Plaza and my brother were vilified and villainized by a very small majority and that it was allowed to be a front page story.
We have four of these type stores in the Ft. Walton Beach, FL. area, and they all sell mainly lingerie and they do an excellent business at Halloween, Valentine's Day and during our pirate festival because they have the cutest female costumes.
Ft. Walton Beach is one of the most conservative areas in the country and no one has ever said a word publicly about them. If you don't want to see the stuff, don't go there.
I am sorry for Ms. Kruse's addiction but I have news for her and the City Council, there's a document called the Constitution in this country. And the First Amendment covers this issue. Sadly, there are many alcoholics but to date there are many, many others who enjoy a class of wine with dinner - until Big Brother goes for that.
I'm a Christian and I have shopped in those stores for lingerie and costumes, I just don't go back. You can't legislate morality, let the free market take care of that.
On the other hand, thanks, Ms. Kruse for the publicity. I'm sure it will draw more curious folks in the store! Welcome, Cirilla's to Wright Plaza!
