Farm accident kills SE Missouri man

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) — A southeast Missouri man has died in an accident on a Cape Girardeau County farm.

County coroner John Clifton identifies the victim as 32-year-old Joshua Goodin.

KFVS-TV reports Goodin was baling hay Sunday evening on a farm just off Missouri 74, near Interstate 55. Clifton says Goodin got off the tractor, possibly to check on some equipment.

A neighbor who stopped by to talk to Goodin discovered him inside the baler and called for help.
