Early morning fire engulfs barn

Firefighters from the Regional West Fire Protection District responded around 5:07 a.m. Sunday to reports of a barn fire.
Upon arrival, they discovered the barn, located at 4335 Scotts Station Lane, fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters worked to keep a house located less than 40 yards from the barn from being threatened. Smoke could be seen from a distance arising from the fire.
A resident reported to firefighters that the barn contained a tractor and an amount of fuel. No one was hurt.
Firefighters reported at 5:52 a.m. that they had brought the fire under control. They cleared the scene at 7:50 a.m.
