About six weeks ago, they were putting things together for a garage sale when one of the worst tornadoes to ever strike a community in America destroyed their home.

Now, Andrew and Danielle Stammer of Joplin are holding that garage sale in Jefferson City.

The Stammers and their two children, 3-year-old Emily and 18-month-old Ethan, are staying with Danielle’s parents, Dale and Diana Otto.
