Correction: IMF Leader-Assault

NEW YORK (AP) - In a June 30 story about the assault case involving Dominique Strauss-Kahn, The Associated Press erroneously reported that prosecutors were seeking a reduction in his pricey bail. In fact, prosecutors alerted Strauss-Kahn's defense lawyers that questions had arisen about the credibility of a hotel housekeeper who has accused the former International Monetary Fund leader of sexual assault and the defense sought a reduction in bail, with prosecutors' assent.
