Falcons take control early In 62-48 win over Eagles

COLUMBIA, Mo. — When Austin Kempker canned a 3-pointer at the buzzer from half-court to give Blair Oaks an 18-4 first-quarter lead, it seemed like everything was going the right way for the Falcons.

“We got out to a quick start, which was good for us,” Blair Oaks coach Ryan Fick said after the Falcons dominated the boards and the first half in a 62-48 win over Southern Boone in the MFA Oil/Break Time Shootout on Sunday night at Mizzou Arena.
