Crusaders hold down Indians’ Daniels in 50-45 win at Shootout

COLUMBIA, Mo. — The task was extremely daunting for the Helias Crusaders, which only made achieving it that much sweeter.

Holt’s Dantiel Daniels came into Sunday’s game with the Crusaders shooting an astounding 83 percent from the field while scoring 22 points per game.

While they didn’t totally shut him down, the Crusaders did hold him to 4-of-8 shooting and 12 points in Helias’ 50-45 win in the MFA Oil/Break Time Shootout at Mizzou Arena.
