CINCINNATI (AP) - Maya Moore scored 23 points to help No. 2 Connecticut to an easy 80-46 victory over outmanned Cincinnati on Saturday.
Tiffany Hayes added 16 points for UConn (20-1, 9-0 Big East) which won for the eighth straight time since having its 90-game win streak snapped in a loss to Stanford on Dec. 30.
Moore finished 11-for-14 shooting and had six assists for the Huskies, who have won 59 straight games against Big East Conference opponents.
Cincinnati (8-12, 1-7 Big East) had just seven available players due to injury. The Bearcats were led by Kayla Cook's 13 points.
The Huskies began the game with an 8-0 run and never looked back. Moore scored 19 points in the first half as UConn raced out to a 40-24 halftime lead.
Cincinnati was held scoreless for the first 7:49 of the second half.
No. 4 Stanford 74, Oregon State 44
CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - Kayla Pedersen scored a season-high 21 points and Jeanette Pohlen added 15 points to lead Stanford to a win over Oregon State.
Stanford (18-2, 9-0) tied a season-high with 11 3-pointers, including seven in the first half, and had a 40-35 rebounding edge.
Leading 14-9 early on, the Cardinal hit four straight 3-pointers - two by Pohlen - during a 13-0 run to take command. Stanford led 39-19 at the half and scored the first nine points after the break to put the game away.
Oregon State could only get within 26 in the second half and trailed by as many as 36.
Earlysia Marchbanks had a career-high 19 points and six rebounds for Oregon State (7-13, 0-9).
No. 7 Xavier 67, Rhode Island 45
CINCINNATI (AP) - Ta'Shia Phillips had 12 points and 15 rebounds, dominating upfront before she got into foul trouble, and Amber Harris scored 10 of her 16 points in the second half, helping Xavier pull away to a victory over Rhode Island.
Xavier (17-2, 6-0 Atlantic 10) completed its third straight perfect January, going 7-0 with another fast start to league play. The Musketeers broke the game open at the start of the second half by forcing turnovers and following Harris' lead.
Phillips had a double-double in the first half alone, when she single-handedly outrebounded the Rams 12-11. She picked up her fourth foul with 9:01 to go.
Lara Gaspar scored 22 for Rhode Island (6-14, 0-6), which fell behind 10-0 at the outset.
No. 9 Notre Dame 58, Villanova 43
VILLANOVA, Pa. (AP) - Devereaux Peters scored 20 points to lead Notre Dame to a victory over Villanova.
Skylar Diggins added 13 points and Natalie Novosel had 11 for Notre Dame (18-4, 7-1 Big East), which has won five straight and 13 of its last 14. The Irish won despite scoring a season low in points, who were nearly 25 points under their average (82.9 ppg).
Laura Sweeney scored 14 points to pace Villanova (8-12, 0-7), which has lost four in a row.
The Irish were upset by Villanova on their last trip to the Pavilion on Jan. 24, 2009.
No. 11 UCLA 70, Arizona 60
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Jasmine Dixon had a season-best 22 points with nine rebounds to help UCLA beat Arizona.
Atonye Nyingifa collected a career-high 12 rebounds to go with 11 points, while Darxia Morris scored 13 for the Bruins (18-2, 8-1 Pac-10). The triumph helps UCLA match its best start since the 1980-81 season.
UCLA finished with a convincing 48-24 rebounding edge, including 25 on the offensive end. The Bruins took advantage of the additional opportunities with 28 second-chance points.
Their offensive and total rebounding numbers were both season-highs.
Ify Ibekwe had 18 points and Davellyn Whyte had for the Wildcats (13-7, 4-5).
No. 13 Oklahoma 82, Oklahoma State 77
STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Aaryn Ellenberg scored 23 points in her Bedlam rivalry debut, Danielle Robinson added 20 points and seven assists and Oklahoma beat Oklahoma State for its seventh straight win in the series.
Ellenberg put the Sooners (16-4, 6-1 Big 12) ahead to stay with a jumper from the right elbow with 5:11 to play, Robinson followed with a left-handed basket in the lane to make it 76-72 and Oklahoma held on with free throws the rest of the way.
Vicky McIntyre scored 16 points to lead the Cowgirls (13-6, 1-5), who scored 19 points more than they had in any other conference game so far this season. But McIntyre was forced to the bench with four fouls midway through the second half, and Oklahoma State couldn't keep up down the stretch.
No. 19 Georgetown 59, Seton Hall 41
SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. (AP) - Adria Crawford scored 14 points to pace a balanced offense and lead Georgetown to a win over Seton Hall.
Sugar Rodgers and Tia Magee each added 13 points while Monica McNutt had 11 for the Hoyas (17-5, 5-3 Big East). They have won three straight games.
Terry Green scored 11 points to lead Seton Hall (7-14, 0-8), which has dropped seven consecutive games.
McNutt made two long 3-pointers to give Georgetown a 6-0 lead. The Hoyas led 22-7 with 7:07 left in the first half and by 20 at the half. The Hoyas utilized a swarming, pressing and trapping defense which limited the Pirates to just 29 percent shooting (7-of-24) in the first half.
Georgetown had its own drought to start the scond half, going without a point for the first six minutes before Magee made two free throws. Seton Hall could only get within 41-31.
No. 22 Wisconsin-Green Bay 69, Valparaiso 50
VALPARAISO, Ind. (AP) - Celeste Hoewisch scored 17 points and Kayla Tetschlag added 14 to lead Wisconsin-Green Bay to a win over Valparaiso.
Tetschlag also had seven rebounds and three steals for the Phoenix (20-1, 9-0 Horizon League), who won their 11th straight. Julie Wojta added 14 points and Lydia Bauer had 12, hitting four 3-pointers.
Rashida Ray scored a career-high 16 points to lead Valparaiso (4-17, 1-8).
No. 23 Iowa State 71, Missouri 56
AMES, Iowa (AP) - Freshman Hallie Christofferson scored 18 points and Chelsea Poppens added 12 points and a career-high 19 rebounds, leading Iowa State to a victory over Missouri.
Lauren Mansfield contributed 14 points in a balanced offensive game that enabled the Cyclones (15-5, 3-3 Big 12) to survive a rare stretch of cold shooting by leading scorer Kelsey Bolte.
Iowa State built a 24-point lead in the first half and led 39-19 at halftime despite getting only six points from Bolte. Missouri (10-11, 2-5) whittled the lead to 67-56 with just over a minute to play, but Mansfield sank two free throws and Bolte hit a jumper to end the threat.
