You can't make all of the people happy all of the time. And when you're an athletic league on the verge of becoming a mega-conference, that's even more true. But you could probably do a better job than the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association did last week.
The MIAA announced the league's football schedules for the 2011-15 seasons last week, and upon first glance, the conference did its best with a tough task. But still not nearly good enough.
The MIAA handled a few things just fine. But then it starts to get wonky.
The league decided against taking the easy step of two eight-team divisions.
