Johnson, Johnson win titles in wrestling tourney

ST. CHARLES, Mo. — Jefferson City teammates Jared Johnson and J.J. Johnson won in convincing fashion Saturday.

Jared and J.J. both won all of their matches by fall at 189 pounds and 285, respectively, in taking individual titles at the Francis Howell North Tournament.

Despite being open at three weights, the Jays finished second in the final team standings. Jefferson City had 175 points, six points behind Lindbergh.

Two Jays finished second.
