TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Natasha Howard and Alexa Deluzio scored 12 points apiece to help No. 21 Florida State beat 16th-ranked Miami 66-59 on Monday night, snapping the Hurricanes' 17-game winning streak.

Florida State (16-4, 4-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) overcame 29 turnovers to beat Miami (18-2, 4-1). With the game tied at 34 at the half, the Seminoles scored 16 of the first 20 points in the second half to open up a 50-38 advantage.

Miami cut its deficit to 60-57 in the last minute before Courtney Ward made three free throws and Cierra Bravard two to seal the win.

Bravard finished with 11 points and nine rebounds in 18 minutes.

Shenise Johnson scored 21 points and Riquna Williams 18 for Miami, which shot just 30.2 percent in the game.

Miami's only other loss of the season was at Nebraska on Nov. 17.

No. 24 Ohio State 81, No. 18 Iowa 67

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Jantel Lavender hit double figures for the 121st consecutive game, scoring 22 points to lead Ohio State to a win over Iowa.

Lavender, the Big Ten's leading scorer and rebounder, also had eight rebounds and six assists.

The win was redemption for the Buckeyes (13-6, 4-3 Big Ten), who lost 89-76 at Iowa on Jan. 8 in the midst of six losses in nine games.

Freshman Ashley Adams added 16 points, Brittany Johnson had 15, Tayler Hill 13 and Samantha Prahalis 10 points to go with eight assists in Ohio State's third consecutive win.

Kelly Krei had 15 points, Morgan Johnson 14, Kamille Wahlin 13 and Jaime Printy 12 for the Hawkeyes (15-5, 3-4).

The Hawkeyes haven't won in Columbus in 13 years.
