Lincoln performs well at Illini Classic

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The Lincoln men’s track and field team took third in the two-day Illini Classic that wrapped up Saturday, while the Blue Tiger women finished fifth.

On the men’s side, Lincoln posted a total of 62 points to finish behind the host University of Illinois (238) and Wisconsin (164).

On the women’s side, Lincoln had 56 points to finish behind Illinois (273), Wisconsin (92), Western Kentucky (78) and Southeast Missouri State (69).
