Dylan Gish could hardly miss, while the Fulton Hornets could hardly hit.
Gish, a sophomore for Helias, ripped the nets for 25 points Friday night while leading the Crusaders to an easy 64-36 win at Rackers Fieldhouse.
The point guard was 9-of-10 from the field in the victory, much better than the Hornets, who made just 14-of-51 (27 percent) for the evening.
Gish posted his game high in points while barely playing in the fourth quarter than had a running clock for most of it due to the mercy rule.
"(Gish) has the capability of hitting a lot of shots for us," Helias coach Josh Buffington said. "They were shots out of the offense and he was shooting with three or four feet of space. He was really in a groove.

"What a weapon he is when he does that, because when people come up on him, he's quick enough to go around them and make good decisions."
Gish was deadly off the dribble in the first quarter, as he scored nine points while going 3-of-3 from the field and 3-of-3 from the free-throw line.
The rest of the Crusaders were equally sharp, as Helias was 8-of-9 from the field in the first 5 1 /2 minutes while jumping out to a 21-3 lead.
Many of those points came directly as a result of a new wrinkle for the Crusaders, who unleashed a full-court press on the Hornets. Fulton had all six of its firstquarter turnovers during Helias' spurt, and the Hornets were down 21-6 after the first quarter.
"I thought our energy was tremendous in the first five or six minutes of the game," Buffington said. "It showed on the scoreboard, and rightfully so. Our guys were ready to play.
