For Randy Allen and the rest of the staff at the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce, the past two days have been recovering from the storm, both literally and figuratively.
Despite having to present the chamber's new economic development strategic plan in the middle of a snowstorm Wednesday night, Allen said he was pleased with the response the event received.
"Obviously, Mother Nature didn't assist us at all, but that happens from time to time," Allen said. "We figured there were between 200 and 300 people there the other night, and that was just phenomenal because it was probably the worst driving night you can imagine in the last several years."
