Lincoln men, women fall to Washburn

OPEKA, Kan. — The Lincoln Blue Tigers remain winless in the MIAA conference after falling 90-71 to Washburn on Wednesday night.

Lincoln (2-13, 0-11 MIAA) took its only lead of the game early in the first half when Cedric Ridle made a bucket to give the Blue Tigers a 5-4 advantage two minutes into the game.

Lincoln tied the game three times in the first half with the last coming coming on a layup by Derek Stokes to tie the contest at 19 with 10:19 left.
