Kansas City area jury to hear double-murder case

A jury from the Kansas City area will hear a 2009 Jefferson City double-murder case.

Cole County Presiding Judge Pat Joyce notified both sides in the case of David Hosier, 54, that the jury will be selected from Clay County, and the case will be tried in Cole County.

No date for the trial has been set.

Hosier is charged with one count of first-degree murder, armed criminal action, first-degree burglary and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon in connection with the death of Angela Gilpin. He’s also charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of Rodney Gilpin.
