The Helias boys basketball team put together one of its best offensive games of the year Tuesday night, and it couldn't have come at a better time.

The Crusaders jumped out to a 20-7 lead over the Jefferson City Jays in the first nine minutes of play at Rackers Fieldhouse, and Helias went on to capture a 70-53 victory.

"We had balance and we were scoring out of our offense," Helias coach Josh Buffington said. "It seemed like we were in a flow most of the night."
