ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Teemu Selanne scored two goals and the Anaheim Ducks beat the Edmonton Oilers 3-2 Sunday night.
The Ducks won for the seventh time in nine games. Defenseman Luca Sbisa scored a power-play goal.
Anaheim backup goalie Curtis McElhinney was cut on the neck by teammate Maxim Lapierre's skate at 11:36 of the second period and the Ducks holding a 2-0 lead.
McElhinney went to the dressing room to get stitched up and was replaced by Jonas Hiller, who faced three shots before McElhinney returned during a play stoppage at 14:29 of the period after an interference penalty was called against Sbisa.
Selanne cashed in during the ensuing power play, redirecting Lubomir Visnovsky's long wrist shot past Khabibulin at 17:32 of the second to make it 3-0.
Capitals 3, Senators 1
WASHINGTON (AP) - John Carlson and Brooks Laich scored 45 seconds apart in the third period.
The victory ended Washington's three-game losing streak and moved the Capitals into a tie with Tampa Bay for first place in the Southeast Division.
Jason Chimera scored Washington's other goal, later in the third period, and goalie Michal Neuvirth finished with 22 saves.
Ottawa has lost eight of its last nine games.
Washington's offensive troubles also continued. The Capitals have scored three goals or fewer in their last 10 games and didn't create many scoring chances until the third period.
The Capitals trailed for most of the game after Mike Fisher gave Ottawa a quick lead with his goal just 72 seconds into the contest. He scored after Washington couldn't clear a loose puck from in front of Neuvirth.
Wild 4, Canucks 0
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Anton Khudobin stopped 32 shots for his first career shutout.
Andrew Brunette, Martin Havlat, Matt Cullen and John Madden scored for the Wild, who had been outscored 13-2 in three straight losses.
Vancouver has lost two of three after a 17-game unbeaten streak. The Canucks are 1-2-0 against Minnesota this season, but 10-0-0 against the rest of the Northwest Division. Vancouver has lost its last four in Minnesota by a combined 21-6. Minnesota is the first team to beat Vancouver twice in regulation this season.
Blackhawks 6, Predators 3
CHICAGO (AP) - Troy Brouwer scored two goals 40 seconds apart in the third period.
Dave Bolland also scored two goals for the Blackhawks, who lost 3-2 in a shootout the night before in Nashville.
Jonathan Toews scored his 100th career goal with less than four minutes left to play. Bryan Bickell also scored for Chicago.
J.P. Dumont had two goals for the Predators, who are 7-2 in their last nine. Martin Erat added a power-play goal for Nashville.
Nashville defenseman Shea Weber extended his scoring streak to a career-high nine games with an assist. He has three goals and 10 assists during the span.
Flyers 3, Rangers 2
NEW YORK (AP) - Ville Leino had a goal and assist in the first period, and Mike Richards added a short-handed one in the second.
Brian Boucher made 34 saves, but wasn't severely challenged until the Rangers staged another third-period comeback try. He fell short of his 18th NHL shutout when Wojtek Wolski scored with 10:29 remaining. Derek Stepan brought New York within a goal 2:24 later.
The only other downside for the Flyers, who finished a 3-1 road trip, was the end of Danny Briere's five-game goal streak.
Jeff Carter and Leino scored seconds after the expiration of two power plays in the first period, and Richards stretched Philadelphia's lead to 3-0 in the second with his 23rd career short-handed goal.
