Jays preparing for tough test at C.C. Invitational

There’s no such thing as time off at the Capital City Invitational.

“You’ve got to wrestle your best in every round,” Jefferson City coach Phil Cagle said Thursday as the Jays prepared to host 11 other teams in the annual wrestling event at Fleming Fieldhouse. “Every match is really going to count, it’s like a district or a state tournament.”

And it has the quality of a postseason event.
