Columbia police investigate explicit teen photos

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — Columbia police are investigating several school students after sexually explicit photos and videos were posted online.
Police spokeswoman Jill Wieneke says the investigation began after a school resource officer heard about the materials. Police found that someone had created a Facebook page with the explicit photos, and YouTube video.
Wieneke said as many as 15 to 20 students could be involved, although it is difficult to say how many because some of the photos did not include faces. Resource officers from Hickman, Rock Bridge and Jefferson Junior high schools are involved in the investigation.
School district spokeswoman Michelle Baumstark says none of the photos or videos were taken on district property or during school hours.
