Lincoln men No. 2, women No. 3 in Division II track rankings

The Lincoln University track and field teams were tabbed as some of the best of in the nation when the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced its preseason rankings Tuesday.

On the men's side, Lincoln was No. 2 in the rankings, which are tabulated based on the current season's results, along with the top marks of athletes returning from last season.

On the women's side, Lincoln is ranked No. 3 with 162.25 points, just .54 points behind second-place Ashland.
