The Blair Oaks Falcons opened Tri-County action Friday night with a 78-42 thumping of Warsaw. Austin Kempker led the Falcons, who raced out to a 21-6 lead after one quarter, with 16 points. Blair Oaks (7-3 overall, 1-0 Tri-County) outscored the Wildcats 24-15 in the second quarter to take a comfortable 46-21 lead at the break, before taking a 63-38 lead after three quarters. Ben Cooper tossed in 14 points for the winners, while Brandon Moore added 11 and Daniel McCarty had 10. The Falcons return to action Tuesday at home against Hallsville. In the JV game, Levi Elder scored 12 points to help the Falcons to a 40-29 win to improve to 6-1.
