Lincoln drops two to Pittsburg State

PITTSBURG, Kan. — The Lincoln Blue Tigers dropped a hard-fought 72-69 decision Wednesday night to the Pittsburg State Gorillas in MIAA Conference action.

Trailing by three with :37 left, the Blue Tigers had a chance to tie it after forcing a turnover. But the potential tying 3-pointer came up short.

In the women’s game Wednesday, Pittsburg State used a 13-0 run midway through the first half to defeat Lincoln 70-60.
