KOMU remains off Mediacom systems

TV station's negotiations with Mediacom stall

Negotiations remain stalled between Mediacom and KOMU 8, after the cable provider dropped the Columbia-based television station and its affiliate, The CW, from its channel lineup Monday night.

In the previous three-year agreement, Mediacom has provided KOMU indirect and non-cash compensation, such as advertising and fiber-optic cabling. KOMU had sought direct payment in a new agreement.
