Police catch 2 men after separate high-speed chases

Area authorities captured two men in Callaway County after separate high-speed chases over the weekend.
On Friday, Jefferson City police officers initiated a chase that led into Callaway County, ending with a short chase on foot. Holts Summit Police Chief Kyle McIntyre said the Holts Summit Police Department, Missouri Highway Patrol and Callaway County Sheriff’s Department assisted, He said a male suspect was captured after officers suffered some minor scrapes from a barbedwire fence.
He didn’t have further information, and the Jefferson City Police Department didn’t have information on the incident Sunday night.
On Saturday night, McIntyre said another male suspect was caught after a chase that, at one point, was on County Road 371 in Callaway County. He said the Callaway County Sheriff’s Department took the suspect into custody.
That suspect, he said, has been arrested multiple times for traffic offenses including driving with a revoked license.
