Cole County firefighters called to extinguish blaze

Firefighters were called around 6:40 a.m. to a structure fire in the southern part of rural Cole County.

Upon arrival at the scene, they reported seeing flames arising from the roof of the building in the 2700 block of Spring Beauty Lane, located near the Osage River southeast of Brazito.
