Boy Scouts hang reminders for annual food collection

Saturday morning was not exactly the most ideal time to go for a walk.

That didn’t stop Boy Scout Troop 7 from making the trek, all in the name of a good cause.

As many Jefferson City residents saw Saturday when they went to reach for their doorknobs, the members of Troop 7 were just a few of the Scouts who went door to door with hang tags as a reminder of the annual “Scouting for Food” program.
