Fatima tops Blair Oaks

The Fatima Lady Comets wrapped up the regular season Friday night with a 48-39 win over Blair Oaks.

Fatima (18-4) took a 20-6 lead after one quarter, before Blair Oaks (13-9) cut the lead to seven at 27-20 at the half by outscoring the Lady Comets 14-7.

The Lady Comets then held the Lady Falcons to only four points in the third quarter while taking a 38-24 lead into the final frame.

Lauren Allen led the Lady Comets with a game-high 16 points. Claire Fick chipped in with 12, while Madi Huot added 11.

LeeAnn Polowy scored 12 points for the Lady Falcons.

Blair Oaks and Fatima open the Class 3 District 9 Tournament on Monday at St. James. Blair Oaks, the No. 4 seed, takes on fifth-seeded Cuba at 5:30. Fatima, the third seed, plays sixth-seeded Southern Boone at 8:30 p.m.

Chamois 63, Belle 10

CHAMOIS - Miranda Brandt poured in a game-high 25 points Friday night to help Chamois to a 63-10 win over Belle.

The Lady Pirates (15-7) raced out to a 23-2 lead after one quarter and cruised to a 36-8 lead at the half.

Addie Mengwasser added 15 points for the winner, while Aylssa Bullock had 10.

Chamois wraps up the regular season at 2 p.m. today at Eugene.
